Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter a name or case number into a search tool linked from a content page, the request is handled by the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the input and returns its own results. Chattahoochee County Court Docket does not maintain the county's official search index and does not store or log those search terms on its own end.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send a message through an available channel, the message may be kept so it can be answered or documented. It stays within the operating team unless a legal obligation requires disclosure. A message to this private resource is not a filing, court request, or Georgia Open Records request to the county clerk.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, ordinary server and analytics systems may receive technical details about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved by a browser. They can help show which pages draw visits and where use of the resource stops, while analytics tools aggregate that traffic information. Browser settings can block cookies, although some functions may respond differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping pages available and improving load performance
- Passing a search request to the provider that operates the selected tool
- Learning which subjects are useful to visitors and which need revision
- Finding and correcting technical faults
- Displaying advertising that may relate to a visitor's interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Chattahoochee County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. The Clerk of Superior Court, Juvenile, and Magistrate clerk functions identified with Tami Wade, the separate Probate/Vital Records office, and the courts themselves are the relevant custodians for local records. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq., addresses public records held by public agencies. Court access may also depend on Uniform Superior Court Rules 21, 36, and 39, including access limits, clerk custody, filing, and docket recordkeeping. None of those authorities makes this private resource the official custodian. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or records about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes and provider routes linked from the resource. Information entered into those tools is handled under each partner's privacy policy, retention terms, and sharing practices rather than this policy. Review the provider's terms before submitting a search, and use the county clerk or court when an official record is needed.
Links to Other Websites
The links include the Chattahoochee County clerk's pages, Georgia Courts access routes, court and records providers, public-law guidance, and other services. Selecting a link moves you to a separate system whose privacy policy controls that visit. Read its terms before entering personal details.
Some advertising partners may observe activity across sites for ad delivery. That tracking is performed on their systems, not by the county clerk or this private resource.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold by this resource. Limited information may be handled by:
- Search providers that process a query submitted through their tool
- Analytics services that measure traffic and page performance
- Advertising networks that place ads on the pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used for information handled by the resource. No internet-connected system is risk-free, however. Safeguards can reduce risk but cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor's information was sent to the operating team, a request can be made for it to be removed.
Your Data Rights
The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq., concerns access to records held by public agencies and does not turn this private resource into a county records custodian. Requests for court-held material may also be shaped by Uniform Superior Court Rules 21, 36, and 39, including limits, redaction, clerk custody, filing, and docket provisions. Depending on the law that applies to a particular request, you may ask to:
- Ask for a copy of information held about you
- Request correction of information that is inaccurate
- Ask that information be deleted when the law allows
- Decline certain forms of data processing when an applicable rule permits it
Updates to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised as practices change. A new version takes effect when it is posted here with its updated date.
